They don't go on sale often, so I thought I would post this, if you're thinking about pulling the trigger. In my opinion, the Genesis line is one of the better values in the grill world. You get high feel and Weber reliability.
True Value Sale
For example:
WEBER Genesis II SE-410 Premium 4-Burner LP Gas Grill, 48,000-BTU, Black
Item 215392
Special Price: $649.00, was $949.00 (save $300)

Have fun eating bits of rust in your food in a couple of years. The SS grates are fat more durable in the heat/humidity of the south.

My cast iron grates are enamel coated. No rust.

I've had mine for 3 years and there isn't a speck of rust on them. I live in SWLA, and the grill is on my covered patio.

Mine are 12 years old. I'm ashamed to say that my Weber lives uncovered in the weather. Only thing I have changed are the "flavorizer bars". Oh, it also went under during "the flood".

The Webers with the stainless steel warming tray and grates are the upgrade from cast iron.
