California has a lot of great breweries but Russian River definitely is the gold standard so they got that one right.

I drink a ton of sours and would say that's a bit of a stretch. I feel like the last two batches are trending in the wrong direction with regard to depth and complexity. Not sure if they are rushing them or the switch to 100% foeders is causing a lighter barrel character. It is still a great buy for $9. And I love what they are doing with the sour/funky stuff in general.

I do know i have 6 batch 3, and 6 batch 4 of You , Me and Everyone We Know, in my fridge.

So you're the one who got half of Baton Rouge's entire allocation.

dude. Grace and Grit is good, but is isnt as good as Ghost or Bloom.

I thought DDH Envie 1.0 (Citra) was better than all three, but it's so close for me. So far I'd rank late 2016/early 2017 for Louisiana NE/Juice IPA (I haven't tried DDH Commotion so I can't place it):

1. Parish DDH Envie 1.0 (Citra)
2. GR G&G (last batch)
3. Parish Bloom
4. Parish GiTM (I didn't have the last brewery-only batch so maybe this is too low)
5. Parish Opus Vert
6. Urban South Finial
7. Parish DDH Envie 2.0 (Galaxy)
8. Courtyard You Already Know
9. Nola 004
10. Gnarly Barley Brightside 2.0 or Old Rail Coalescence

ha, i have been going to shreveport a lot recently and brought all that back. also came back with DDH Commotion, and grace and grit.

I not going to drink all that in a quick amount of time so if anyone wants to trade.

I have a massive stockpile of 3 different variants of old mad joy. I bust a rare bottle out for my enjoyment or to call in very special favors hahaha

The Reve Stout is hands down the best coffee Stout I've had in my life

Broaden your horizons a little

But Parish gets my vote.

The kickback for bringing baws to Parish must be better than other breweries.

I really like Great Raft

but I think Parish is better.

I give a slight nod to Envie over COmmotion.

GITM >>>> G&G but I will admit i missed the last iteration of each.

I think Reve is as good of a Coffee Stout as I have ever had.

And i don't want to trash on Great Raft, cause like I said I think it is greeat. I jsut think Parish has the edge.

Really high on Urban South but they don't have the repertoire.

It would be great if GR could get stuff here as fast and fresh as Parish does, would be the best of both worlds.
