Tried Brisket for The First Timeby TidePodI've never tried brisket because I always thought it was some weird type of Mexican slop that Texans rave over. I've heard about it over the years but also assumed it was just some food that gay people like because, again, the Texas thing. That all changed recently when I bought some Brookwood Farms Real Pit Cooked Brisket from Publix the other day. After making sure it wasn't from Texas, I made the purchase and headed home. The packages I bought were from Siler City, NC. I wasn't expecting much, to be honest. I heated up the little containers they came in and tried some in a sandwich. I think it might have been the best food I've ever had. Barbecue doesn't compare at all to brisket, unbelievably. North Carolina does it right, wow. 5 stars. There is no way any brisket could be better than this and I don't see any reason to ever try any other kind.
It’s like you got laid for the first time with some skank who anybody can ride, but when she just lays there like a dead fish.
Now get out more. Get your arse to Texas and use the damn Texas Monthly barbecue bible to find the best in every city.

I don't know if was all that deep, actually. Texas is known for being big on gay stuff and are pro-gay and the football team and campus of the University of Texas with the dildo worship and all.
I just thought of brisket being associated with that and assumed brisket itself was probably just a gay fad. Now that I've tried what is probably the best food I've ever had, I'm reconsidering my previous thoughts.
Honestly though, there probably isn't any way brisket that could be any better than the North Carolina stuff I had. There isn't any real way possible for something to taste better.
Ok this was a big troll job. Well played TidePod. You got lots of WTF's and a "Whatcha talking about Willis"

Have you considered that maybe your initial thoughts were correct, but you actually love brisket because YOU are gay?

It was my first thought. It wasn’t even subtle.

Well you worship North Carolina. Biden was within a point of winning that state in 2020, which is gay as hell. Come on out of the closet, gay boy.

I'm not sure why anyone could ever be confused about why most of the United States thinks that Texas is all about gay stuff.
The ages old phrase "only two things come from Texas, steers and queers" is apparently not just idle talk. For years, I thought this phrase was just good-natured razzing of Texas residents.
Then, Texas A&M joined the SEC and I learned that a lot of their culture is based around homosexuality. But, that was just one school; maybe it was an outlier.
Not so. The Longhorns then joined the SEC and it turns out they are even more hardcore gay than A&M is. I think Texas even has a dildo named Big Boy in their trophy case that the students and residents of the state worship. It's bad.
Excuse the hell out of me for thinking brisket, a foodstuff closely related to Texas, was also gay.

I don't follow all the politics and drama associated with it. I don't even particularly like North Carolina, truth be told.
But, they do seemingly have the best brisket. I base this opinion on the fact that nothing could possibly be better than the Publix brisket I just had the other day.

None of this refutes my assertion that you liked the brisket bc you are also gay

Thanks for sharing your opinion on brisket in a container that you reheat. Can’t wait for your opinion on champagne in a plastic bottle or the best daytime soap opera.
