Is the extra $$ for the WiFi enabled grill worth it?

Other than adjusting temps from your phone, what are the advantages?

Also, hit me with your go to recipe.

What makes the Rec Teq so much better?

Warranty and customer service. Both are really good.

Another vote for Rec Teq, quality build on top of the great customer service. Buy once, cry once.

Stainless steel. Just the weight of it compared to traeger or green mountain. I posted on a rec tec group on Facebook and asked if anyone in my area had one I could come by and look at. Once I saw one there was no comparison.

Green Mountain Daniel Boone, I believe the Bull is 14 gauge, so this wouldn't be a clear advantage of rec tec:

Daniel Boone specs
Grease Tray 12 Gauge Steel
Lid 13 Gauge Steel
SS Lid 14 Gauge Steel
Body 14 Gauge Steel

I bought a very lightly used Traeger about a year ago, and I have 0 complaints. Mine is a pro 34. No Wi-Fi and I can't say I've ever wished it did.

If I were to get a pellet grill, you better believe I am getting WiFi enabled.

You can adjust the temp from anywhere. Why wouldn't you want that option?

You can probably monitor the internal temps of the food unless you have another application/setup for that.
