Been closed for like 5 years. The one in the NOLA warehouse district is awesome, though.

Because a hot dog is a sandwich and a burger is also a sandwich. Therefore, by the transitive property, a hot dog is a burger.

From a topological perspective, hot dogs are not in the same class as hamburgers. They are fillings partially surrounded by one piece of bread. Similar to tacos. Hamburgers have two distinct pieces of bread on either side of the filling.

I don't know where I'd rank it but Bullchicks changed to fresh ground beef over a year ago and bake their buns in house. It's really good for a drive thru burger

I've never had Bullchicks, but they always have a massive line so I must be missing something good.

Yep. Dixie Maid will make a top 5 list.

Riverside Patty would make the list as well.

Not in BR, but still in the parish, I like LeBlancs in Zachary.

I've never had the burger but my wife swears that Pimanyolis has the best burger she's ever had.

I can, however, say that Pimanyolis has the best bbq sandwich I've ever had.. "The Pepper"

Never had a burger there, but I remember their bbq sandwiches being legit. I’ll make a point to try one.

Go get a Barbie Burger 2.0 from Curbside, then revisit this thread. Seriously. I guarantee you it will change your mind.

Sure. i love burgers. Just every time i have been to the curbside restaurant, it has only been a decent burger you would get at a burger joint. not the greatest thing ever. But this board has a weird way of sticking to things that come out of the gate super popular. And Curbside Food truck is one of those things. And like i said as a burger from a food truck it was great.

And i really dont know what about riverside makes it so good, their beef mix is just fantastic. They cook it through, so if your main judging criteria is medium pink center and super juicy, this wont be in your top. But Man, i love me some riverside. And get the curly fries.
