To participants: When I’m setting up the voting thread, I include one picture for each submission, but I’m not always sure which picture to choose. It is often obvious, if the last shot is the completed dish, or a pic of the dish plated to serve. Sometimes the last pic is a bite shot, which might not fully show the dish to its best advantage.
Have you ever wished I’d chosen a different picture? Maybe you could put an asterisk by the picture you’d like me to use. What do y’all think?

You’ve always done such a great job of choosing the right picture I never really put much thought into it but some of my last pics have been “bite pics” and not the best for someone to judge by, so going forward I would say we make the voting thread pic the last in the submission thread

The last is usually what I choose, but sometimes think another pic showcases the dish better, especially if the last pic is the bite, or fork or money shot. Maybe I shouldn’t worry about it, but I do.
