I went twice, nice conversation with bartender/owner but it was dead and I read the reviews. Didn't like my two beer options were 16oz and 24oz but that is minor.
Food I only ate from appetizer list, so I can't comment on it.

parking lot for that complex is just fricked. needs to be demo'd and entirely re-engineered.

it also shares parking with like 4 other tenants (pizza hut, some financial services place, etc)

I can see that going the way of Sliders

I probably wont go simply because I have that shitty vacant building stuck in my head.

Taking the shopping center sign out of the middle of the driveway would be a start.

The name alone will be enough for the Pvill peeps to keep fighting the shitty parking lot.

To the left or the PetCo/Rouses shopping center. They just started clearing the lot 2 weeks ago.

Start off with a beer or two at TJ Ribs. Order the wings as an appetizer.

Move over to the breasts at Southern Comfort.

Grab a daiquiri at Spanky's for the ride home.

But first, stop off and pick up to go pizza at Lit while watching a recap of ESPN Sportscenter.

It will thrive in Prairieville, will be considered "fine" dining

You do realize ruffinos is considered fine dining and that is 2 miles from prairieville right?

people act like prairieville is Timbuktu
I can be in prarieville from my office at courses/airline a lot faster than getting midway thru Baton Rouge. Baton Rouge is slap out of desirable restaurant real estate especially for franchises. Id be surprised if the current uptick in new places doesn't grind to a halt soon

It's not so much the location

It is the location. The parking is horrendous.

Haven't been in a few years but I used to get their steaks

I got their ribeye when I was in BR last year and it was great. Cooked perfectly.

And their wings are awesome. I absolutely love them. Get the sauce on the side.

Their ribs though are kinda blah. They're too tender, almost mushy.
