Boss treated the managers to lunch today at Tilted Kilt in Gonzales.

Pros:
- really nice on the inside with plenty of tvs for sports
- the non-local girls were flown in for the opening were smoking hot
- pretzel appetizer was quite good

Cons:
- My meal wasn't good at all. Grilled wings tossed in Buffalo sauce were just unappetizing. Tiny microwaved wings tossed on the grill for a few seconds. Bad.
- Menu is meh and all the other food looked very poorly put together.
- the local girls were not very appealing. Not sure what it will look like when corporate leaves.

Would go for a cold beer and delicious pretzel after work. That's about it.

How long the non-local chicks usually stay for? I'm not interested in going afterwards.

I bet it's a lot less trashy than the local hooters by a mile

Gonzales isn't classy enough for a Hooters.

I've heard the food isn't very good.

And also...

We have them in my neck of the nape. If you like sausage bars then have at it. A bunch of 30+ year olds trying to hit on waitresses all night. No other chciks, to speak of, go there. Same as Hooters. They will sit at your table and talked to you so they can make big tips. If you want to see T&A, with better food, cut to the chase and just go to the strip club.

How could you tell the difference between the local girls and the imports?

The imports don't have the typical Ascension Parish woman haircut.

Some version of

There were some that were tall, leggy, beautiful, and filled their uniform out wonderfully.

There were others who were tatted, had stretch marks, and the kilt was a little too stretched to be tilted.

If I was a betting man, I'd say this place won't make it. It failed once before and they are in a market where Hooters, walk ins, and twin peaks are doing fine

I don't think the one in Lafayette lasted a year

But that's not because of hooters and twin peaks. Those places are ghost towns lately

Our store in Laffy has definitely felt the economy. I think they are looking to move it to a better area when the lease is up. As far as BR, the 3 that I mentioned are making their money. I think it would be hard to draw people all the way out to Gonzalez with food that might only meet par at best.

I think any restaurant that serves bad food won't last, regardless of the theme. Looking at hot women is nice, but people go to a restaurant to eat. If the food sucks (which Tilted Kilt's food was very bad on the first impression) people won't frequent the place and it will die. I don't expect TK to make it in Gonzales.

From talking with some people, the food at Twin Peaks is supposedly pretty decent.

I did stop by the other day for a beer and I tend to agree. My friends that ate said the food was very meh. The girls that will be there a month from not won't sustain it for just guys wanting to check out the women.

The other problem I see is they are tucked so far back there that you will get no visibility from people just driving down the hwy. And there is a BWW and Quaker Steak place nearby, closer to the roads.

I will say, the set up with tvs was pretty nice. Better than any of the places I've been to like that in a while.
