No I think last one was late September. Didn't see it in BR but a buddy brought the goods down from Shreve to the LSU South Carolina tailgate. Was awesome and better than the July batch IMO.

First few times I had the IPL it was great but I only had small tastings. Bought a bomber of it and I did not enjoy it. After drinking a few full pours it left a Natural Light keg party after taste in my mouth the rest of the night.

Yea, I can still find it but just noticed it wasn't everywhere like it used to be. bought a bunch at Tiger Mart the other day. Was just cooler when I could get it anywhere

I agree with that list. The difference maker with GR, is that they are VERY attentive to their customers. Commotion first came out, it wasn't anything special. Owners new that, made changes, and boom, fantastic pale ale.
G&G, we've all been complaining that it is fantastic, but the price tag is a bit painful at $12.99. Then news comes from Ross, i believe, that they are doing their best effort to lower the cost to the consumer of that beer.
Y'all do a great job Ross. Keep it up. It may have been mentioned in this thread and i may have missed it, but when will the following make it to BR again (or for the first time?)

Yet another reason Crescent sucks. If they can manage to deliver kegs to the Bulldog late last week, they should be able to get some bottles to some of the key off-premise accounts sooner than a week later.

I'm not drinking it. It's sitting in my fridge right now. I just opened a Ghost in the Machine and am typing on my front porch. Should I throw it away too?
I'm a wine guy. I'm used to opening one then laying the rest of the bottles down for a few years so I can tell the difference. If I'm buying beer with a 60-90 day shelf life well I'll just enjoy it whenever and not mention to the mavens so they don't drop their tampons.
Someone please tell me a Saison I can get on somewhat fresh basis that is located in BR since I am a fan of that style.

Don't be so defensive. It's a legitimate statement given I've seen you mention drinking it a few times recently. If it's that July batch it likely wouldn't have the qualities that make it good when fresh. But maybe you just like that. Cool. I guess. Enjoy.

I wasn't been defensive. I was being an a-hole. As I said I'm a wine guy and just don't have the palate to tell me the perfect qualities of a beer that is 90 or so days old - so really it just doesn't bother me unless it ends up tasting like shite which I find unlikely. I mean the Ghost is older than that and I find it rather tasty right at this particular moment. I guess it's older - I don't always look at the dates like I do with milk and eggs.
Thanks Bug - I have had the Sofie and forgot about that. I'd like that blood orange saison again.
