Do you prefer a fried shrimp po-boy that uses jumbo shrimp or smaller shrimp?
I'm partial to the smaller shrimp.

Sorry to disagree, I consider small shrimp, 50-60 count gumbo shrimp, to be a sign of a rip-off. The best one to me are medium sized, 20-30 count. Krabby Jack's on Jefferson Hwy in NO is perfect.

It doesn't matter to me, as long as they are cooked properly. Some places are more inclined to overcook the little shrimps. Check that, if cooked right I probably prefer smaller ones just because its easier to really pack a LOT of them in there together.

To me the smaller shrimp once fried are nothing more than batter with shrimp flavoring, Give me real shrimp meat!

Too much batter in small shrimp for poboys. Give me the larger shrimp every time.

36-42 Count. Good all-around size.

Medium size all the way. Small = too much batter vs too little meat. Large = tougher to eat in a po boy (when you take a bite and a big shrimp comes out whole, you leave a shrimp void in the po boy.
