New owners and management, if you haven't been lately, check them out
Roast beef, half pound of parmesan waffle fries and a Coke just a little over $13

They gave me a little cup of gravy. Traditional roast beef gravy good nonetheless

Baton Rouge STILL can't get the fricking roast beef right I see.

Looks good, but seems like a lot unless that's a picture of your go box and you already ate half the sandwich and fries.

Looks decent, but why is the meat so dry?

Where is the tender roast beef and debris/gravy?

How not to make a roast beef poorboy:
1. Dry
2. Overcooked
3. With a mayo mixed with butter
4. Without lettuce, tomatoes and pickles
5. Served with CFA waffle fries
Then call it a “poboy” — I guess this would be appropriate use of that term. This is a poor poorboy imitation illustrating the depravity and deprivation of Baton Rouge. As an another poster once asked, “How does a city one hour between two food meccas manage to be so bad at making good food?”
Would I eat it? Yes. Would I criticize every bite? Probably.

Lots of English, no geography I see. How about having someone point it out on a map for you?
