So what does Miracle whip taste like? The advertisements are pretty convincing. I was thinking of buying a bottle.

I take my waffle fries home and cover them with blue plate. The only mistake one can make with mayo is to not use enough.

I don't really understand what you mean by this. There are some things that are just meant to have mayo.

I don't get the hate for Miracle Whip. That's what I grew up with and I don't mind it at all. I like to mix it with curry powder for a great dip for veggies or french fries.

I like both Miracle Whip and mayo. Each has its own purpose.

The key word is "some" not all, and more does not equate to better. My point was that there ARE other condiments to use on a sandwich, in a salad dressing base, or other base than just mayo, and yet that is all you see and butt loads of it, so yeah, I think it's way overplayed in food today.

I'm not talking Miracle Whip, son. I'm talking the orange sandwich spread with relish!

What would you have me put on my Olive Loaf or Liver Cheese sandwiches?

And you have me thinking about Liver Cheese on a Friday in Lent? Special place reserved for you my friend.

I don't like it because it has a sweet taste. I prefer mayonnaise only on sandwiches and po-boy's for the most part. I put just enough to moisten it. I don't even put it on my burgers. Not a fan of when people put globs and globs of it on everything .

I will say, one of the best mayonnaises I've ever tried was a Tabasco-infused mayonnaise on the Fried Peacemaker po-boy at Acme Oyster House. Really good.

I don't eat mayo ... never did. I used to eat MY-NAYZ on a chisesi ham sandwich on Bunny bread, with a slice of creole tuh-may-tuh. Sandwich was just as good without the ham too.

The my-nayz had to be Blue Plate.

However, a turkey sandwich with that Tabasco mayo FTMFW ... it'll change your life.
