With The Masters starting in a few days, will you be hosting any viewing parties or attending any parties? What are you planning to eat and drink?

Neighbor will be providing a keg of Miller Lite and is making Arnold Palmer's with vodka. I'll be boiling on Saturday, and my wife is making pimento cheese and egg salad sliders as appetizers.

I'm sure my deadbeat brother-in-law will be providing Ruffles, French onion dip, and Chips Ahoy for the kids.

What are you doing?

I’m making a pimento cheese sandwich and hoping my fat, bald neighbor will pay $40 for it

I'll be eating leftover smoked turkey I cooked this past Sunday.

Between that and golf on TV, I should get a real good nap for a few hours.

I thought this at first, but they grew on me. The pimento cheese is a lot creamier than what I'm used to.

Still way better than the egg salad sandwiches which will make you fart all day long.

I played little league ball with a kid whose family had (and may still have) the contract to provide all of the food for The Masters. I even worked at one of their concession stands one year in high school. OK, so I worked everyday except Sunday when I walked around and watched the tourny. Back then, the best thing on the menu, IMO, was the Masters Club for $3 (and it is still $3 thirty-four years later!) and also the pimento cheese sammich for $1.50. Back in those days, you could also get Heinekens for $2 and domestics for $1.50. They've gone up a bit these days, but are still reasonable for a major sporting event.

Have fun!

Spicy pimento cheese on soft white bread.

Mint julep will be refreshing since it’s supposed to get warm.
