Rumor is that it's closing. Always liked it. Some of the best sandwhiches around. Anyone can confirm or deny this?

Great food terrible location. They had been open a year before I had even heard about them.

Closed today. Sad day they always took what they did seriously and put out a great product. I was happy to see them make it back after the flood and virtually a year after they reopened they're now closing.

Some of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had, but like others have said, the location killed them.

We went once. Food was delicious. Terrible location as others have said. Also, the dining room smelled like an ashtray the one time I went, which is why I never went back.

While the location is bad I bet El Paso survives.

The local needed better marketing to be a staple 5:00 pm pick up place.

Yeah I was surprised to see El Paso choose that location. Will be interesting to see how they do long term there.

That seafood place that was there before the flood had been around forever.... but a seafood buffet is probably more appealing to the natives than Mexican food

Ahh...Lafleur's. Growing up in the 90s I probably thought that place was nice!

The other thing that worries me about El Paso is the number of Mexican restaurants in the vacinity.

Two about 2-3 miles away in central
One in Watson
One a mile away in denham
Several more in denham proper...

There are a lot of them nearby. I just had El pass tonight and it wasn't too bad.

I saw the local and was wanting to try it. Now I can't.

If the local is/was some kind of G-O-A-T sandwich joint, you guys have to get out more or something. I mean frick. They're closing.

FTR...in three attempts, I was consistently disappointed with the food & service in that place. To think I went two too many times. They did not earn the right to call their meat/bread concoctions "sammiches".

I went 3 times and enjoyed what I ended up ordering every time but 2 out of 3 times they "were out" of my first choice. Should have narrowed the menu down to 10-15 sammiches instead of having 40 entrees that you have to keep stock for.
