Not sure why anyone would open in that location...it has so much bad history...along with traffic congestion..

Agree. Can't imagine why banks keep lending money to people to open in this location.

"In addition to to-go lunches, customers will be able to sit down and eat Cajun-style cuisine in a dining area, pick up specialty meats and prepared meals from the meat market, or grab a drink from the bar."

So kinda like Maxwells but with a bar. Sounds cool. The main reason reason why so many restaurants fail there isnt necessarily the location (though its not good).... its that the restaurants sucked. Calendars was just average but lasted a long time and what was the Italian restaurant?? It wasnt bad and was there for while.

I thought Marcello’s was where Solera currently is? Unless you mean a different Marcello’s.

It's been a bunch of different things since Calendars closed. It's an awkward location.

I only went to this place once and it was on their grand opening night. They had a special for free drinks. As you can imagine, it quickly became a huge shite show.

When Portobellos was there, they had probably the best hamburger in town. The Portobellos in Bocage does not.

Caliente remains open because a bunch of sorority chicks go to the closest place to drink too many margaritas. It certainly isn’t the food or atmosphere. Every time I have been there are tables of nothing but chicks.
