It still won’t last, nothing does in that location. I don’t understand why so many people keep trying to make that the spot to open their restaurants. I can’t even remember all the places it has been. It was a burger place, a poke place, a sushi place, calendars, and something else

An old friend of mine from Louisiana College is the owner. Hope it does well.

Sounds like a good place to get a drink. Does an abundance of young women turn you off?

I mean it’s not a maternity ward. Or a taping of The View.

The sushi place at this location was pretty good and I thought did pretty good business for awhile.

Can't imagine this place will be the exception to the rule.

Edit - I'm an idiot

Can't believe it has been 8 restaurants over the span of 11 years. That has to be a record.

Before Omi, that location on Essen and One Calais was probably more than 8 different restaurants from around 2000 until when Omi opened.

Wasn’t Vincent’s there right before Omi?

They aren't very Google-able. Juban's comes up for some reason when you type them in. Was trying to see if they plan to be open at night.

My friend's mom went last night to check them out and when she walked in, they said "Just to let you know, we don't have everything on the menu right now". And she asked what they have, and they said "Lasagna". And she asked what else was available, and they said, "Oh, just lasagna" She was with a toddler and asked about kids' plates and they said they just have lasagna.

We didn't believe her that could right, but she assures us that's what happened. She was actually going to go ahead and get the lasagna, but with no kid plates for the kiddo she just decided to try somewhere else.

I was thinking maybe they're a lunch place and maybe trying to close up shop when she went around 5?
