anything more above average on their menu that I should try? Their menu reads like a ton of typical tex mex fare.

I've been to the one right there in denham once. It wasn't bad, but there's other Mexican places in the denham area I'd choose ahead of it.

Carnitas aren't bad. First time I went I got the Ceviche and it was really good. 2nd time we went it was terrible. Fish had obviously been cooked with heat vs citrus. The fish was hot.

I'd do Papi's, Nandos, Sartia's, or Las Palmas all in the same are over El Paso.

It's not going to kill you. Flautas are OK, that's all I got.

Order the Los Pechos Grandes de tu Madre. It's an off-menu item, but they'll get them for you.

I actually enjoy el paso. My favorite thing is Bistec a la Mexicana and sub charro beans instead of refried

The one in GONZALES has an Elvis impersonator tonight. It gets very busy when he plays.

The one on Sherwood made me give up TexMex for 6 months. Not a pleasant experience.

All of their food is a step up from taco bell, but I dig it. You can't go wrong with the burrito.
