Which one would you give the edge to? I would have to go with Tennessee IMHO.

In the battle of TX vs. TN...

TN wins..

I prefer Carolina over both...

Not a fan of the pork chopped rather than pulled.. But Id still eat the hell out of it and still prefer it over Cow.

The question is cow vs pork.

Pork wins everytime. It was put on this earth to be smoked.

being that i grew up in Texas . live in south la and my dad's family is from Tenn. I am torn. I prefer my BBQ which is a great combinatoin of both. Texas for beef and Tenn for the sloppy pork.

Im not even aware of cow being used in Tenn for BBQ. Maybe it is..

My biggest gripe about Texas BBQ is that I cannot stand Mesquite smoke.

Mesquite is too acrid for my taste...grilling with it is fine, but I don't like meats that are smoked with mesquite.

The only thing TX has going for it is brisket......I'll take pulled pork & ribs over that any day.
