Best - There are many, but the last one that blew me away was Founders CBS. I still think it's priced too high.
Worst - It may always be Abita Jockimo IPA. It's the first IPA I ever tried and I hated IPAs for a while after that and didn't bother trying others.

Worst - Hamm's
Best - Bourbon Barrel aged stouts and barleywines. Any of the really good ones are my favorite, BCBS, CBS, Maple Shade, a bunch of prairie beers, really like the Bourbon Barrel aged Grand Reserve Parish used to do, black note stout, Double Barrel OMJ

Worst: Pearl Light - Tasted like water flavored with aluminum. Only bought because it was cheap and the puzzle caps were fun.
Best: Guinness.
I've had lots of craft beer: stouts, IPA's, rare one, expensive ones, ones you have to stand in line for hours for and they are all fantastic and mind blowing. However nothing is as reliable and good tasting as a Guinness. You can find it anywhere you are in the world, and you know what it's going to taste like, and you know you're going to be ok. The recipe cannot be improved upon and it is the gold standard for the dry Irish stout.

Worst: yonder hefe tin roof/any b1 tin roof
I’d recommend you give tin roof another shot. Their beers have gotten much better.

I have and they have gotten much better. But the worst beer I have ever had was those early yonder hefe’s at tin roof. Unless you like garlic tasting beer.

Best- changes all the time. Russian river supplication is probably the one but I’ve only had to once
Worst: I’ve drank some shite beers and I still
Will have a natty or a lone star light from time to time. However this beer below is the only one I’ve drain poured. It is $3 a flat for a reason, this beer is so assy

I gotta say, it has been a long time since I've had what I would call a really bad beer.
I know Untappd is not the be-all, end-all of whether a beer is good or not, but if I'm trying to narrow down my choice, I'll look the beers up. If a beer has a 3.4 rating with 2k reviews, I'll pass. If one beer is a 4.0 and the other is a 4.2, I'll sample both of them and pick the one I like. Untappd keeps me from trying the really shitty beers.
Portland has too many cicerones certified beer snobs. Those guys take pride in trashing local beers and can skew the total reviews. They usually grade 1/2 point lower than your average person, and then, of course, the average person usually gives the beer whatever rating the beer already has...

Worst is easy: King’s Ale, a beer brewed in 1902 from a mash stirred by the king. Rebottled in 1977. Absolutely undrinkable when uncorked in 2016; tasted like soy sauce mixed with old shoes. Tried again with another bottle in 2017, it was a tiny bit better, but still pretty damn awful.

So I would say the best ever was Julius, the best ever that is readily available and consistent is by far Two Hearted Ale.
The worst... Milwaukees Best Light.

I've had so many good beers that I wouldn't know where to start.
But for worst there are 2 that come to mind. first would be at 8 years old a room temp gulp of strohs from the old man that constitutes my first taste of beer. took that gulp like I was drinking a coke and I paid dearly. worst thing I had ever tasted at the time. thanks dad!
other would be hudy delight in high school. that shite can strip paint off walls.

Worst: Magic Hat #9
I was getting ready to post that as my worst, too. I had one of those "oh, we know you like craft beer so we picked this out for you!" gifts a few years back and they got me Magic Hat. Holy shite. I was at their house and like HAD to choke on down. It tasted like dishwashing detergent or something. Just awful, awful, awful...cannot believe it's still being made.
Best: Impossible to answer but I would put circa ~2010 Hopslam on the list. It was before the saturated IPA market, one of the earlier beers you had to actively hunt down, and was unique given it's lack of sweetness despite high ABV. Delicious stuff. Of course, nowadays it's just a good but run of the mill IIPA.
