Crawfish season is basically over, I wouldn't eat what they're catching right now

Good to know. I was about to pull the trigger on a couple hundred dollars worth.

I passed through Scott saturday on the way to the VP.
Picked Billy's this go round. Regular boudin, smoked boudin and those pepperjack boudin balls.
A+

Any recommendations on which kind? Also, do I just eat em like a brat? Bun and mustard?
I don't care what anybody says this is the best way to eat grilled boudin.

I saw no one posted what Tasso was. Basically its like smoked ham but it comes from the shoulder instead of the butt. Its a spicy/pepper meat. Its usually cut into 3 inch thick slices and can be eaten on its own or chopped up and put into gumbo/gravy/jambalaya. My wife from Creole throws it in a pan and fries it then tears up on its own.
This is an article from the Boudin Link about a place in Lake Charles called Sonnier's. It's some of the best I have had and right off I-10.
