Ive only had it once and wasnt impressed at all. I bought some cold and grilled it, the skin was too thin and busted open if you barely touched it.

I had some a couple of months ago. It was really bland and almost all rice. Was not good.

shite I love it. It is fatter than most and probably more prone to busting, but it is my favorite. That said, I haven't had any in a couple years and my folks down that way said it may not be as good as it was.

Wow coming from you that's a big statement. Didn't that used to be your favorite?

Am I alone in finding that the Pepper Jack does nothing for the Billy Boudin Ball? I just prefer the regular boudin ball. I cant really tell the difference between smoked link from Best Stop vs Billy's.. I like a smoked link but once its got that smoke flavor its just hard to differentiate any other flavor.

I still prefer Ronnie's Boudin balls over anyplace else. Love the flavor and crunch of the crust.

I grew up on Hebert's boudin in Maurice. It's still a personal favorite. It's ground up more than most places and has a strong black pepper taste but I'm still a fan.

I really like Nunu's too. Their Steen's sausage is the the best thing ever though!
