I eat the Bell maybe once every year or two, and have noticed no decline in quality. It's still as shitty as it's ever been and I still always immediately regret my decision to go there. But every now and then that meximelt and bean burrito craving gets too strong.

Haven't all of these types of the standard quick service places declined in quality over the years? Fast casual places are today what the lower tier quick service places like Taco Bell and McDs were 20 years ago.

I think Wendy's has gotten better over the years.

They're about the only one though.

The one near our house is decent. We'll get a craving every now and then for a cheap fast food Mexican meal. Plus they have the Baja Mountain Dew, so I can get all my trashy in with one stop.

I will admit this is the one item they have improved on and when my kids ( or short lunch break) demand i eat there I will get this and some nachos. I really miss the old chicken soft taco. The shredded chicken goop is nasty.

My opinion is not worth much, but it is my opinion. There is Mexican and then Taco Bell. Occasionally, I must have Taco Bell and I always enjoy it.

#4 is where it is at!

Have not been To Taco Bell in over a year and now I won't think about anything else until I get the Taco Bell monkey off my back. Meridian had two pretty good Taco Bell stores, but that seems like too far a drive from Clinton, so I will stay local. Look for me there sometime in the next few days.

I think it depends what you get.

McDonald's is the best across the board. Their southwest chicken salad is legit. Take away the McDonald's bowl it comes in and most people would think it's from a legit restaurant

In one way I think it`s all of the menu options which make no sense. For example, something's that are a dollar end up being a better deal and more food than the basic number selection on the menu.

Looking at all of the options gives me a headache. So most of the time I wish there were less options, but everybody is different and that part makes sense.

I think they should do a "Classic Taco Bell menu". On that menu list the old schools like taco, Burrito, Mexican pizza with black olives, and green onions, Chilito (chilli cheese Burrito for those who don`t know the original name) and whatever else they had then.

Then have the menu with all the newer things.

That's pretty much how their menu was in the early 90's. It was tiered based on prices starting at I think .39 cents, an went up to .99 cents. Not even sure they had combos back then, but maybe they did. 3 Meximelts, 1 bean burrito, and a Dr Pepper was less than $4 back then. $3.91 if I remember right.

Yeah that old menu was the shite. I had one down the street from my high school and could get a taco with the change leftover from lunch.

Ah yes, the taco supreme was .20 cents more than a regular taco, yet the only difference was the supreme had sour cream on it, which they only charged .10 for.

Tomatoes too right? I don't think the regular tacos have tomatoes

I guess tomatoes as well. We were stoned high school/college kids when we made the discovery and thought we had struck gold.
