Am I alone in thinking their quality has declined drastically in recent years?

It started about 5 years ago when they quit offering their best products, like Santa Fe Gorditas and Frito Burritos, and reached a new low about a year ago when they started including non-standard "Tex-Mex" ingredients, like fried egg and grilled chicken, as a substitute for tortillas (taco shells).

What do y'all think of this?

i think it varies by location. i used to stop at a taco bell in Winnie and their food was always 'as good as it could be' with freshness.

i get the normal stuff though. tacos, burritos, and nachos

I’m not sure how when you are already as bad as anything out there how much worse you can get. Maybe they have a new fake meat concoction?

Another Taco Bell question: Why the hell does the Mexi-melt cost so much? 2nd smallest item on the menu but it's like 2.50. The Beefy Mini-Quesadilla is basically a mexi-melt without pico and it's $1.

Ate a cheesy Gordita crunch and a Crunchwrap supreme for dinner tonight. Both delicious.

Those fries are orange garbage though.

Baton Rouge Taco Bells have the worst service ever. They're so shitty that they make Burger King service seem like Chick fil A service.

All I know is that in 1986 they used "genuine grade d beef (but edible)".

I never ate there again after I discovered this tidbit.

How could it get any worse?

The key to Taco Bell is getting simple items. Chicken quesadilla, chicken burrito, etc.

Apparently they were going for authentic mexican food.

A decline in quality at Taco Bell? How could that be possible?
