Got this about a month ago after seeing it recommended here. I think I paid about $95 from amazon during a lightning deal. Thing is incredibly easy to use and clean.

I want this. I have a deep fryer but ten to use my cast iron pot for frying as I hate cleaning the deep fryer.

I have this fryer I bought at Sams years ago. I like the filter/storage of oil system.
I recommend it.

Just got one and works pretty well. Does your reservoir leak around the drain mechanism if you stand it upright?
Posted on 10/7/15 at 8:18 pm to rlay002
Yes it would leak if you stand it upright. If you lay if flat like in the picture it doesn't leak as the drain port is on top. It works really well to strain and filter the oil.

Have one. Don't use it much but it's an excellent fryer and the filter feature is great.

I don't do much frying. How long can you store used peanut oil before it goes bad?

Don't know if it was this particular one but a buddy of mine had the oil filtration on it and it leaked out. Hopefully his was just a lemon and you don't have that issue with yours!

The deal is sold out now, but you can get a slightly smaller one HERE for only $58.
