Going down Friday evening for the Seinfeld show. Suggestions for a quick bit to eat before the show?

Side note: I thinking I’m going to valet at the Roosevelt... is that a good plan or is there Better parking elsewhere? I’d like to park once and walk to dinner then the show

Dominica is in the Roosevelt and a good place to eat, make reservations online in advance.

I’ve done Dominica before and not against doing it again, but I’d like to maybe try something new. How’s Johnny Sanchez?

Galatoite's except I never want to leave Galatoire's to go to the Saenger. Domenica is next, especially when the Christmas decorations are up in the Roosevelt.

I’ve come around on Johnny Sanchez. Right near there is Maypop which people seem to love.

Not next door but not far: Peche, Herbsaint, Meril, Carmo

There is a pretty cheap garage across Rampart from the Saenger that I always use.

Could try Revolution.

Just ate at GW Fins before a show at the Orpheum and it was very good.

There is a parking garage on Rampart a block away from the Saenger that I’ve parked at multiple times.

Gotcha... I know that area around Ramphart can get a little shady at times, but I’m guessing when there’s a show it’s good to go around there. Might still end up doing the Roosevelt so we can go see the lights and make have a cocktail or 3 at Saz

If you are going to park, are you looking for walking distance from the Saenger?

That’s what I was thinking... park once when we get downtown and walk to eat then the show.

Quick bite hmmm. There is several just ok places like Deanies and Acme. Not sure how much time you have. Some of the others places mentioned are a hike (8 plus blocks). If you have like an hour Mr’s B’s is like 3 1/2 blocks away and you have a full menu at the bar and get served quickly.

I would say:
Venezia
Mandina’s
Katie’s
Mr Ed oyster house
Brown butter
Bevi seafood.

Depending where you coming from to head to Saenger.

Meauxbar is less than a mile walk from Saenger. Park in a lot on rampart in between the two

Meauxbar seems to be a great choice

there is a pay lot right behind the joy theatre across the street from the saenger.
Dominica will be packed if the show is sold out, I’d go the other direction to GW Fins, r’evoltution or Arnaud’s if you park first

Not my favorite, but Palace Cafe is a short walk down Canal to the Saenger.
