Costco sells some raw flour tortillas that are delicious. Just throw them in a pan with a little butter or Pam for about 30 seconds on each side, and BAM...homemade, fresh tortillas.

We use Rio Grande. Not sure if the big stores have them but most of the small neighborhood Mexican ones do.

I'm used to the downvotes when I recommend making your own tortilla/mayonnaise/ etc., but I wonder how many people have actually made these things from scratch.
They aren't difficult(mayo takes 2 minutes) and can actually be fun(making bread, flatbreads, etc).

I've made my own mayo. You're right that it's easy and it's delicious, but I'm just too lazy to do it regularly. I only did it when I did the Whole 30.

Costco ones are money, they recently started to carry some organic ones instead of the tortilla land. both great

Grew up making homemade tortillas. They are the best but it’s time consuming. The “take and Bake” ones like tortilla land i posted above are so much easier and close enough to the real thing.
I am smug as hell about tortillas too

I have, they really didn't turn out that great, just not worth it. It was a one time thing for me.

What kind of fat did you use? It’s a noticeable difference between oils/butter and lard.

The pit room in Houston makes tortillas with the rendered fat from their brisket. Holy moly some damn good tortillas.

I didn't d/v the post, but I kind of roll my eyes when someone asks a specific question and people come back with a DIY post that doesn't help at all (on any board). Maybe OP makes the best damn homemade tortillas you've ever had and just wondered what a good alternate was when he didn't feel like it or have time.

I agree. I hate the do it yourself responses when the question has nothing to do with it.
