I wish them the best, but they'll have their work cut out for them being that Ruth's Chris, Fleming's, and Sullivan's are very close by.

And they're going to be 2 million in the hole from the start and not have enough parking.

That's true, that parking lot is tiny.

Notice for liquor license application is in today's Advocate classified pages, hope the opening is soon. Isn't that going in the old Chase bank building?

It's next door to one of if not the richest neighborhoods in baton rouge, they will do just fine.

I can already picture their guests parking at Bocage shopping center and trying to cross Jefferson on foot.

If parking is a problem, surely they will have valet parking and find some way of parking the cars.

If they put out a very good product consistently and play the "local" vs. "national / franchise" bit, they could fare well.

They have a deal in place to use the tennis club parking lot for a term of 99 years or something like that and may be purchasing land behind the restaurant to expand their lot

We went for our first time last weekend.

Service was great. Food was even better. Thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience.

Place was about 3/4 full on a Saturday night.

I went for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Will definitely be back.

Palermo's parking issues are more tricky than what Stab's will have to contend with.
