Only offering Tuna & Salmon for fish choices??

What do you want them to offer? Traditional poke is tuna

It's weird that they offer chicken

I think they will. It's basically sushi in a bowl. I didn't smell fish one time I was there. If they keep up the quality; it should do just fine.

Just went back for lunch and got the tiki bowl. It is real good too.

Talked to owner--they had prepped for a certain amount on the first open day yesterday. Ended up selling 2.5 times as much.

also, lots of talent up in there from what I saw.

Can't wait to try it. I always thought Poke would make for a great Food Truck menu.

Got the Wasabi Gras on purple rice. Really good. Large bowl seems to be a good size for lunch. Not sure how much less a regular would contain. I'll be back soon to try some of the other options.

Just had it, really good, the Tuna was very fresh. Entire bowl had a great flavor to it.

Will be back, will probably end up in the monthly rotation.

Had the Luau, loved everything about it.

Attempted to go for lunch, probably had 50 people in line out of the door down the side of the building.

Will try again in a month or so I guess

Did the opposite. I went right when they closed and snuck in last minute after I worked out.

I got the Wasabi bowl and my wife got the Tiki (both larges).

Concur with what many have already said. Fish tasted very fresh. You wouldn't even notice the taste of purple rice if you didn't have eyes...tastes just like white. Ate the entire bowl and didn't feel awfully full. Perfect amount.

The wasabi bits were a little surprising in texture but once I figured out what they were, I didn't mind it as much. Pleasant in a way.

Excellent eating. Would eat it again.

GF and I went today around 11:30. The food was fresh, interesting, and delicious. We both felt great after eating it and will definitely be regulars. I'll post a further review later but I highly recommend supporting this place.

I wonder if they'll get on Waitr like City Pork does. That would be the perfect way to try.

Hopefully the fish will still be cold by the time it gets to you. If not that wouldn't be too good.

I went this afternoon for a late lunch. Got the classic bowl to start with since I've never eaten poke before. It was very good. Fresh flavors, and they definitely didn't skimp me on the fish. Next time I'll have to branch out try some of the different options.

I went to the new Poke spot in New Orleans. A couple of my friends and I were the only guys in the restaurant. Place was loaded with what looked like freshman tulane girls. Never seen anything like it.
