Oh HELL yeah. Personally, I don't like the AYCE ribs, just not my style, but the babybacks are MONEY. The toast and slaw kicks arse as well.

I grew up eating at that place. Been 20 years since I went there and I can't remember much about the food. I do know that I always got chocolate milk and that the place always smelled awesome.

If we're talking about the one off of Florida, then I like the food but the service is pretty awful...the last time we were in there they sat us pretty close to the front and we could hear some of the trailer park waitresses talking about going out later that night and getting some...

golden opportunity!

I've only been there once, found it to be nothing special. Certainly not worth driving out there.

Maybe... I haven't been to Sonny's in a while, but enough of a difference to drive way out there? (well, for those who live a lot closer to Voodoo...)

Well sonny's is closer for me, and its usually to go for me. But last time I try voodoo, my pulled pork was mostly just the dried up ends of pork. Much unlike the time before.

Just not consistantly good IMO.

Its not the best. Any bbq shop in NC or Tennessee is easily better, but its pretty decent compared to what else there is around BR. I grew up in Florida just across town from the original Sonny's, so I learned to like some of the stuff off their menu. I do like their pulled pork (especially when I have a bottle of Damron's vinegar sauce to go with it).

Not happy, tried to go to Sonny's for lunch. That location is no more.

Sonny's is actually better than most BBQ in BR. Their quality has gone done some since corporate came in late last year and told them they needed to do things like the restraunts in Bama and Florida...f'n corporate.

I went to the original Sonnys in FL for the UF game. Best pulled pork, onion rings, and bake beans Ive had in a long time.
