Of course the old stables being Hanson’s, Sal’s, Casey’s, and Plum street. Who else? I just came across a place on Harrison Ave. called NOLA Snow, fantastic. Who else has some solid soft ice and good flavors?

Sals and Casey’s don’t belong in the same conversation with Hanson and Plum st.

NOLA Snow Balls in Lakeview are the best and a short walk away.

Sometimes I drive a little to Pandora’s on Carrollton.

I’m not sure why you’d go anywhere but Hansen’s if you life in the city

Came here to post Pandora’s - not sure if it’s as good as the greats (Sal’s, Hansens, plum st) but it was within walking distance growing up - so of course always a favorite

In BR - I like the place in front of Reeve’s supermarket

I go to a place called Sauve’s in River Ridge. I don’t know if they are the best, but they have the best tasting sugar free flavors that I’ve had.
Most places doesn’t seem to put much effort in the SF flavors and they leave a bad aftertaste, but I don’t get that with any of the SF flavors there.

Hansen’s is damn good, but I don’t always have an hour to kill waiting for a $6 snowball.

Yep. For whatever reason they seem to like taking their time making each one.
It’s is damn good though
