What you'll need
Shrimp
Stone Ground Grits
Green tomatoes
Your batter (for the tomatoes)
Smoked Tasso
White onion
Dash of olive oil
Minced garlic
"Tony's"
Start lightly browning your finely cubed smoked Tasso (with a drizzle of olive oil) and toss in your fresh onion.
Bring the water for your grits to a boil, then whisk in your grits.
Batter your sliced green tomatoes (from your garden) and drop them in your hot veggie oil.
Brown down (pan fry) your shrimp with the Tasso (&onions/w Tony's) until cooked through.
Grade your smoked Gouda cheese and sharp cheddar, and dice your fresh chives (from your garden)
Plate & serve!
**Remouladé sauce plated after last picture. That's about all I've got to say about that.

Oh wait
I forgot to tell y'all this was the first time my farmers market has been out of yellow corn grits (stone ground/unbleached)
I've never had to go to Albertson's for a box of grits.
Eta: but I guess at the end if the day, it's still a grit?

Did you ask the grit eating world?
Were these magic grits?
Did you get your grits from the same guy jack got his beanstalks from?

Did you make a homemade pirouque and catch your own shrimp in a cast net that you made at a cut in the marsh that your PawPaws brother dug?
Looks good IWEI.
