I’m heading there this week and trying to avoid grocery stores. What’s an easy in and out seafood market in the area where I can find fresh tuna and amberjack? Nothing like Joe Pati’s, way to many people in that place.

Friend,

I only say this because I care about you. Visiting the Panhandle right now doesn’t seem like a good idea. If you must, bring all supplies with you so you don’t enter any stores. The positive rate of tests there is around 25%, indicating it is even more widespread than numbers show. I was furious Mother went last weekend, even though she took every possible precaution.

All I know is that if I suddenly stop posting remember that I lived a good life and loved you all.

Yours,
TulaneLSU

There will be no unnecessary visits to any stores. Packing all my supplies and food. I would buy thr tuna at Whole Foods here in town if it wasn’t $30+lb. I’ll take a risk at the place t00f recommended. Thanks for your concern. Mazel

Stop in Ft Morgan and grab some fresh oysters. We can social distance bro hug on the farm. No store necessary.

Stopped at Sextons and Destin Ice couple weeks ago. Both were good choosings. Sextons def with more shrimp and the snapper was fantastic.

Go early. They are strict on their social distancing. Only 6 people allowed in the store at a time. That includes people standing around waiting for their seafood to be steamed. The line yesterday around 5:00 was out the door and down the front of the building. It took forever to get my shrimp.

Instacart your groceries and alcohol. Get takeout or cook at home. Wear a mask to pick up your food. You will literally be the only person wearing one besides staff.

Is that next to The Breakers? If so, great place. Walked over many times
