Seafood Drink Recs

I’m a rye Old Fashioned or Manhattan guy. Those two pair favorably with most meals but not lighter seafood. I’m not a gin and tonic or white wine person. So, what is the F&D Board pairing with seafood?

Try a G&T with Aviation, or Roku. I really am not a fan of juniper, but both of those are pretty clean. Roku has a bit more citrus taste in it than Aviation, and both should be light enough to pair with seafood.
A problem with G&Ts can also be tonic that is too sweet. See if the restaurant has either diet tonic or a differently spiced Mediterranean or Indian tonic. Both of the previously mentioned gins are easily done with a lot of ice and seltzer instead of tonic, to lighten it even further.

Screw the white wine goes with fish concept. I’ll drink red.
Moscow mule, margarita, Paloma or maybe a something off the drink menu.

Mule or Paloma both look intriguing. Thanks. Not much of a mixed drink guy outside of Old Fashioneds. Only reason I drink those is due to this board.

Tequila is definitely not a bad idea

Agree. Obviously I was clowning around, but Tequila feels like a good fit for seafood. Maybe not Margs though.
