Staying near the River front from Wednesday through Saturday. Any lunch or dinner recommendations? Looking for one nice dinner as it’s our 1 year anniversary.

The Olde Pink House is pretty good, and a good atmosphere for an anniversary dinner.

Common Thread Restaurant - very good (upscale, meaning pricy!)

Elizabeth on 37th - also very good and expensive.

Price is no issue! I waited 39 years to get married. She’s special and deserves it. Also nice to have a wife that loves great food and will try anything. I’ve been looking at the rooftop bars which look nice. Our conference is at Ships of the Sea Museum and base camp at Service Brewery.

All of the rooftops along the river are pretty fun.

Olde Pink House
Collins Quarter - more a brunch/lunch

The Grey is highly rated, but I would just go to Grey Market down street for lunch and get the burger

The little pink house. At there July of 2022. Reservations are tough depending on when you try. You can stand in line early for the bar underneath the Pink House which is SUPER cool. Very dark, very old. We loved that. We didn’t get in upstairs but I can’t imagine it being much more fun than the bar below. It’s very romantic too. Food is the same and good.

You're looking for a nice place, try Husk. Went a few weeks ago and really enjoyed it.

Are you staying at Plant Riverside?

I remember eating there when they first opened. The front lawn was planted in herbs, the chef was a future James Beard award winner, her husband was the sommelier.

When I told him that I didn't care for white wine with seafood, he smiled, "Neither do I". Good guy.

He brought out a bottle of red Zin, that was delicious. I have eaten many sea bass dishes in parchment paper there and my wife always enjoyed the scallops and broccolini.

It is expensive though.
