Any recs for something quick to pickup around Lafayette close to I-10 that isn’t fast food?

Old Tyme and Pop's isn't too far.

you could always hit up one of the many boudin shops in Scott. Fezzos is right off the I10 too, if you want more than a sandwich.

You can also hit up Zeus for some greek food. Locations in Carencro and Breaux Bridge.

Couple of Parrain's specials or other BBQ at Johnson's Boucaniere might be another good plan...I'm pretty sure you can call it in as well.

You'll probably think I'm crazy but the restaurant at the truckstop across from the Loves at the Mire/Duson exit(the actual restaurant, not inside the store) has some pretty damn good food. The burgers are great and cheap, I think an 8oz burger with fries is ~$11, poboys are pretty solid too. They also do a buffet that's pretty good, if its a Thursday you'll have to wait for a table because it gets packed for the fried chicken.

Olde Tyme shrimp or half and half (shrimp/oyster). Perfect poboy w/o frills, keep it simple stupid, it's the best.

You choose to post on Tigerdroppings, so you are crazy. But you’re not wrong in the above.
