I buy the fresh boneless chicken breast. Normmally about six per pack for about twelve or so dollars. They are huge and really good. I can't eat a whole one.

We have all three major warehouse clubs in Jacksonville - Sam's, Costco, BJ's.

Clark Howard once discussed on his radio show the difference between the three (this was year's ago, so I don't know if it still applies).

Costco - biggest discount, highest quality products in general. Best house brands. Shop here for best value (combination of quality and price).

Sam's - large discounts, lowest prices (but quality generally not be as good as Costco. Shop here for absolute lowest prices.

BJ's - Discounts not as big as Costco or Sam's, generally, but their selection is much better. For example: At Sam's/Costco you may only have a choice of one or two brands of toothpaste, whereas at BJ's, you may have 10 choices.

I'm generally underwhelmed at their prices for toilet paper, paper towels, beer, and cokes. I can usually find these things on sale cheaper at the grocery store or walmart.

I agree. And the diapers I see are usually Pampers Cruisers ($$$$), Huggies (which I hate) or Sam's brand (I usually used Pampers regular Baby-dry), so I never bought those there either.

Over-the-counter medicines like ibuprofen & Benedryl are usually a good deal, as well as vitamins.

Next time you go to Sam's look at your receipt. Almost every time we're there, the cost averages out to $10/item barring any major purchases. Anyone else ever noticed this?

I drive 60 miles to SAMs- did 80% of Christmas shopping. Clothes shop almost exclusively- Calvin Klein, jeans, socks. Toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, laundry detergent are worth the trip.

I'm surprised no one has said the grapes. They have 3 lb packs that are $5 and the grapes are large and very good. I was at walmart neighborhood market yesterday and was going to buy some but it was almost $7 for one small bag and the grapes were pathetic.

I have been buying the grapes lately for my 3 year old. And the cuties mandarin oranges. A 5lb bag of those only lasts us a week.

Why doesn't Sams sell Taziki sauce? Costco does and it is the shiznits!
