I would disagree. We are finding new revenue with delivery orders all while increasing butts in seats. Up and coming urban areas do prefer quick service though. We will probably be testing out a new concept in the near future.
Don't you manage a Hooters though? You aren't the same as Applebee's baw

You tried to make this point in the other thread and it made just as little sense. Food trucks rise in popularity doesn’t mean the end for brick and mortar restaurants
The food truck part is way off

that type of restaurant is going to go by the wayside
.. in the sense that as the old folks die off, I think we will see less and less restaurants in Sammy's style of fried seafood plates, homestyle food, sandwiches. I don't think they'll go away entirely, but "old people restaurants" were all I knew growing up and now I can't name many.

We definitely are in the same sector of the restaurant industry

I gotta think you aren’t old enough or weren’t around for when Sammy’s really was good and employed smoke shows. It was great every night of the week and twice in Saturday’s. I’m with everyone when they say it went down hill fast and it’s not even arguable. I’ve given that place 6-7 chances more than I shoudve after getting bad meals thinking it was just an off night for the place but it wasn’t.

I can see that but a group of guys going to watch the NFL on Sunday isn't going to Applebee's over Hooters. Y'all will be fine.

The parking lot in Prairieville is always full and I never go because of the lines

The "Hooters Girl" certainly does help but it isn't risque anymore. If the food and service are poor people will stop coming. We have done a good job with our menu imo. Smoked wings have been huge. Coming soon to a Hooters near you: Roasted Wings (kind of off menu already but they will do well), Unreal Wings (plant protein wings. I am not impressed), chicken chips were a huge hit, and CBD infused dry rubs.

Did fatboy take em down for what their family did on 911?

Well, I asked this in the other thread but might as well ask you in this one. How much does the Siegen location outperform the College one now? It has to be massive at this point.

No clue. It's a gimmick that will work for a short period. Some cooks will steal some to try and get high off it I suppose.

Exactly my sentiments

Not massive. Off the top of my head it does about $10k more a week. College is middle of the pack as far as our company goes. Top 4 are Metarie, Denham, Houma, Seigen

Well, that's good to hear that they are still doing ok. I dated an Asian girl that worked there in about 1997. She used to come over to my place in her Hooters outfit after work smelling like fried food. Good times

What was her name? I probably do not know her. That was my store as a cook from 03-05. I believe my current Regional Manager was the GM at the time she was there though.

Pville used to be crowded but lately there has not been any lines.

Rachel. I should clarify that she was Asian American. Her mom and dad were from Korea or Nam but she was born here.
