Huge salad bar. They charge by the pound. Also have soups, tators, and sammiches I think.

I hit one up Monday. The selection is nice. The bleu cheese could have been better. I made a big salad, with lots of stuff in it, for $7.50 or so. I'll go back.

i eat the the one in Mandeville frequently. Can get a nice big salad for about $10.

one time it really fricked with my stomach. About as close as you can get to food poisoning. Like any open buffet concept, eat at your own risk

they do a really nice lunch catering thing. we picked like 2-3 meats and at least 10 different sides.

I took the entire container of roasted garlic for myself.

I'm not sure what the price was, but the food was very good

They are blowing up.

I enjoy the food but I usually make a meat salad so it’s closer to $13 to $14. I’m terrible at a salad bar and would be better off eating a burger and fries

The one in Mandeville has been good for me. About $9-$11 for big salad and a drink.

I go to this one about once a week for lunch. I enjoy an Arnold Palmer with their diet lemonade and sweet tea.

A bit pricey, but when you consider the selection it's understandable. Their veggies are fresh, and they have quite an elaborate selection of items. You're not walking out with some kick arse salad, but you're getting a great one for what it is.

I would actuallly says it’s on the cheaper side. For the quality you’re getting, $6.99/lb is a great deal. It’s the same price as most grocery store salad bars but it blows them out of the water with quality ingredients/dressings.

We love it. Tried it for the first time in DS (not by choice) and was so impressed that I asked them if there was one in BR. Figured it was going to be like the Salad Shop on Perkins at Acadian (don't care for that place at all)
Happy to see that they are getting one at Perkins/Essen because we had been driving to one out on Coursey and this will be much closer. It's so good and much healthier than a lot of other lunch places. Wouldn't be surprised if it starts getting slammed at lunch time once people start realizing it's there. Family that started it is from Louisiana.
Now they just need to get rid of the Salad Shop and replace it with Salad Station.

I've been a few times. I like the concept. $6-7 salads with choices. Efficient. Not in a grocery store so easy in/out. It's not high end. It's fast food Salad.

However, they already had a Franchisee close down in Amite, LA. Corporate took it over just to save face. They might have 40 customers all day. The stores in Covington/Mandeville never have any customers in them when I pass by. Especially the one next to Panera Bread in Covington. The only reason they are probably still open is because they are corporate owned and the family gets all of their produce for free practically coming from the farm they own, plus no royalties.

Will be interesting to see what these franchise stores do out of state when they have to pay for their products, and royalties. Sounds to me like the founders strategy is sitting back collecting that franchise fee, and probably will offer little to no support to the franchisees thinking this is a solid business investment. After all it is just a salad bar.

I could see these being successful in Mandeville and Covington, but can’t picture the Amite location doing well.
