Hankering to boil some peanuts. Anyone know where I can get a sack of green?

I can't remember if it's in season but I thought it was between May and Aug.

Anyone know? Jumbos preferred

I asked on here this past week and we probably aren’t going to see any until late next month or early August. Any of the produce stands should have them

the new gas station on Perkins near Essen has them.

As of right now, its the best gas station in BR but wonder how long that will last

There’s a guy that sells them right in front of the courthouse in Clinton. He’s been there every day for the last week or so .

You're overthinking it like usual. You need salt in your water so use powder boil or just plain old salt. Boil for 1-3 hours until they're tender.

I can admit I overthink shite but not sure how I am overthinking something I have no experience at.

I trust MB's methods if he shares them. Hell I read an recipe a while back when I wanted to attempt them that involved 15 ingredients plus Guinness

Yeah, that's kind of screwy.

90% of the time, I just add like a cup or two of salt and boil for 1.5 hours. Maybe add some more salt and let soak for 30 minutes.

I'm not a huge fan of the straight "cajun" with crab boil, but I did work with an old guy who used to boil them with some combination of red pepper flakes, some cayenne, and maybe some kind of hot sauce that I really liked.
