FWIW My wife knew that United was having a shite storm of complaints after their merger and filed a complaint to them about a flight we took on Delta and they sent her a 200 voucher..

Damn guess my wife treble hooked that one.

ETA: Kinda like the ring to that verbage..

Hence forth from this day forward . The usage "treble hooked" shall be used to describe the act of getting something for nothing from a company.

I fail to see where it's the restaurant's fault for a drunk couple that was sitting close to you. Really and truly they didn't have to do anything "extra" (other than move you if you asked) and they went ahead and did it anyway with the wine ... I think the letter you sent was unncecessary.

Sounds to me like if you were uncomfortable you could have easily asked to move to a different table, and I'm sure they would have accomodated you.

Hey guys, FWIW I wrote Ruth's an email apologizing for the OP being a douche. In response I received free food for life.

But there is an 85-90% chance he wouldn't have gotten a free bottle of wine, his ticket comped & a gift certificate. OP called their bluff

I sent them an email saying:

They responded with franchise offering

So he has treble hooked 1. Ruth's, 2. the golf Course and 3. Fish Commander.

He works in threes. There couldn't be a more perfect term.

Friggin awesome. That's hilarious. He came on that thread dogging a tuna expert, all whilst sporting that sig and admitting he'd only been tuna fishing like twice.

that'd be like me having a sig pic of golf

Unless all of the shite he said he does is made up, being a scammer does not make you a good guy. Dude might not realize it's wrong, but it's very wrong.
