We made a road trip this weekend up thru the very rural country of northern parts of the Florida Parishes and into Miss. We made a stop at a back woods smokehouse near Loranger/Husser and bought some of the best damn smoked sausage I have ever eaten, Wallace Bahm's Slaughter House! There were so many "Processing" businesses deep in these parts of this area. I would highly recommend Wallace Bahm's. What are some other out of the way, maybe not well known places y'all use or would also recommend in the Florida Parishes?

My family has been buying from Baum’s for years. Awesome stuff in gumbo or a pot of beans.

I just had lunch at Vines in Centreville. Ribs with red beans and rice. I bought some sausage to bring home.

I just ate 4 Tums and I’m burping smoke rings.

Good stuff.

My go to is Day's in Watson. The sausage and gratons are second to none.
