Agreed. I don't see it talked about much, but I think it is great. Their steak salad with sensation dressing is one of the best salads I've ever had.
They have a good wine list, great food, the place is decorated beautifully.. and supposedly their happy hour is very good. Includes food and drink, which is always a plus, and I think it runs lunchtime through 6pm on Fridays.

Wife and I are going to try it for lunch in the near future. The menu looks great and Beausoleil-light (same people, I know) and the prices aren’t at $$$ as Beausoleil.

I went for lunch during restaurant week.
Four crispy fried oysters for app, redfish with beurre blanc sauce with I think fried brussels, and a creme brulee for dessert. It was great but a tad on the lavish side for my apparently butter sensitive stomach!
It was great and the atmosphere was nice, the servers were great and chatty, the food was like good New Orleans restaurant quality without the drive and the parking. My only quibble is getting into and out of the parking lot as the location is a little awkward there on Bluebonnet. When I went I was surprised to see that Baton Rouge has an Orvis a couple of doors down, lol.
