Clooney, y'all had 16 picks to pick Rio Mar...Lola's? Jacquesimo's was selected over Rio mar and Mr. John's for the same reason y'all picked Lola's over Rio Mar...it was not about selecting the 16 BEST restaurants...cafe du monde would not have been in, nor Johnny's (this is not a vote for Johnny's).

It is a travesty that parvenue and da piero got bounced early...but no one has eaten there...same goes for rio mar.

As badly as I want to vote for Johnny's, the Shrimp Po-boy at Monjuni's tops the list. One of the few places around here that serves a boiled shrimp po-boy.

I lived in Shreveport for 4 years and never discovered the attraction to Johnny's. I was rather pleased to discover two Monjuni's open in BR when I returned to the city and haven't had a twinge of sorrow that Johnny's did not follow them down here.
