Update on the shithole Mexican joint that was Marinas at hoo shoo too and Jefferson...

Gonna be a wing joint now. Kenny Carr must be doing well with the 2 KCs. They are doing work in there now. Hopefully it has a good bar.

What about Industry Grill? They looked done this weekend but I heard something about a gas leak forcing them to close and then they decided to remodel while closed. It took them 6 months to open and the food is terrible. Not sure how it remains.

Galatoire's Bistro

Went on a Friday night last week and we were one of two families at the restaurant. We had 8 in our party, then another party of 2.

Food was slow to come out and awful. Waiter told us the kitchen was backedup and served several of us burned dishes.

well played

I came here to post this. It was always a shell of the New Orleans location.

Add Wing Snack on Burbank to the list.

For lease sign out front.

They had good wings but a bit pricey.

I know. New Orleans is the same way. Has 35 closures so far this year.

Wish we had a Hardees closer to middle of Baton Rouge. Good mushroom swiss burger for the price. Actually tastes like real meat.

Didn’t even realize there was a Hardee’s in town. That place sucks. Way too much mayo on everything. It’s like a fat person paradise

Been closed for awhile. Think an Italian restaurant is moving in there.

that whole restaurant was weird, it’s like the day they opened they decided to stop caring for it. The grass got long and it looked like shite. It was like they were trying to make it fail

Has canefield Tavern been mentioned?

Jordanian Lebanese Cuisine has opened in its place. Like naming a restaurant "Italian Food". I don't have high expectations.

This. The previous version: Kamado & Golden Dragon at least kept up the place. Their food was excellent and a great deal with solid service, but the place was always empty. I enjoyed every meal I had there. This is How We Roll? Not so much.

The shrimp basket on Sherwood is moving along quickly. I wish them well but that area of Sherwood can be risky. I really don't know what to expect for them.
