Then my poking fun shouldn't bother 95% of the posters on this board .. I just happen to enjoy restaurant reviews more than the "ooooh .. ahhhhh .. that looks wonderful"-fests over a picture of a backyard grilled hamburger that looks like 99% of the grilled burgers you've ever seen .. It's just "look at me" Facebookish, to me .. Just an opinion .. No different from the thousands of posts that critique threads all over this site .. You've done it .. We've all done it .

What was the wine pairing?

A very nice 2015 Sutter Home in a box.

Appetizers are very traditional italian - we got a meat/cheese/olive plate.

Beer/drink selection is very limited.

+1 for carrying Mug Rootbeer fountain drink.

Small pizza was more than enough to share with my wife.

One couple in our party did not receive their food until after everyone else had already eaten, and the server refused to admit that it was because of anything other than their pizza coming out late. (FWIW they ordered the same pizza my wife and I ordered.)

I'm a fan of the one in the Woodlands. To be honest though, knowing there is a location in a Baton Rouge mall has made it lose a bit of luster in my eyes

LOL. Brooklyn to the freaking Woodlands -- no problems keeping your cred/"luster" as a legit pizza joint.

Open in BR, cred now shot.

I was not very impressed with their pizza. Don't plan on going back.

I'd take Mellow Mushroom over Grimaldi's any day, and I'd pick up an Italian hoagie while I was there.

The original is great. I walked across the Brooklyn bridge from Manhattan to go there.

So this is that Grimaldi's? That place is excellent;.

You are full of shite. The only reason you posted in this thread is the same reason you post in any thread, to derail it. Get a life.

I like the pizza but I remember it seeming a little overpriced. I'd have to go back again to get another look at it. I agree with a few others and enjoy pizza from mellow mushroom.

I agree. An overgrown Houston bedroom community has so much more luster.

My cousin sold his house in the Woodlands ten years ago and moved to Conroe. Said it was getting too trashy for his taste.
