They had roof damage from Ida and said they would reopen.

I don't know if there is any timetable on when they plan to reopen.

Tommy's used to be a second home for me, but the 3rd time I had a roach crawl across the floor/table while I was trying to eat, I haven't been back since. Commodores is my new go to for pizza.

me either
eating pizza at the bar and slinging insults with the babetender is part of the charm. although, pour house's pizza IS better

It's an empty lot now. There's still one open in Mandeville.

The old Catfish Charlies? Can't think of anything else there. Seems like an odd move.

BTW as long as this is a hammond thread, the hammond airshow is this weekend out at the airport. weather should be really nice, and its a fun family friendly show.

get off 12 at airport road and go north to 190, then you'll be directed onto the airport property field to park.

If you're not from the area it's gonna sound weird but, Punjabi Dhaba in the truck stop on 51 near I12 is the best lunch you'll get in the city. Oh and it's all you can eat

I feel Tacos and Beer deserves a mention as long as we're talking about Hammond. Don't do Tommy's with a family, the service is generally slow. Mariner's is a grubby joint but the food can be excellent. For dessert I suggest Eddie's Frozen Custard. It's pretty unique.

I don’t
the staff at pour house is friendly and efficient, it’s a cool place to hang, and the food is above average. None of that is true at blackened brew

It has great ambiance, space, outdoor and live music. The BBQ was not good.
