the further away from the stadium you go, the better the food gets.

I'd second Bones.
Going back to Chops Lobster Bar. Great place. Love the fried lobster.

Bones and Chops are neck and neck. Chops is louder and more corporate but Bones is more elegant

I like Hal's and Bones. Hal's for the filet and experience. Bones for the service and meal.

Happy hour cocktails and snacks at Ticonderoga in Krog followed by a solid steak at Rathbun's down the beltline would make for a solid night. Close to downtown and midtown

Make a stop at Folk Art Café and get the Shrimp & Grits.

and tipped him!!

We were at the Lobster bar (downstairs) and we certainly weren't didn't help to lower the noise level --- went after LSU beat Georgia and there were plenty of LSU fans inside, so much so, that a GEAUX TIGERS chant, alternating, was conducted inside the restaurant.

The entitlement of "I'm so important that the 'cook' (not chef) must know that the meal he cooked was up to my standards so I'll call him from his busy workplace so I can had him a crisp and well deserved $5 bill" is outstanding.

Wrecking Bar was fantastic. Best food I’ve had at a brewpub. Also really enjoyed Ponce City Market.

Hal’s is my favorite steakhouse. I like the bone in ribeye there. Good cheesecake too.
Fox Brothers is my favorite bbq.
Canoe for the atmosphere. It’s going to be pretty warm this weekend so it’s an option.
