If you do go, order a chili cheese slaw dog, chili burger or glorified w/ cheese. Onion rings, FO (frozen orange) and a peach or apple pie. I would do this not on gameday, as you may spend some time on the toilet about an hour after you consume it.

Went to Marcel for the SEC Championship game. Was awesome, great atmosphere and will undoubtedly be full of LSU peeps again.

Had the oysters myself and the 22oz dry aged ribeye /both were outstanding. ala carte sides. Great bar atmosphere. Huge wrap around bar in the center of main room, dimly lit. Evening had an New Orleans feel to it.

Wife and mom both got the filet, we’re delicious as well.

Stay away from College Park. I stopped at Ruby Tuesday for lunch, after lunch went to my truck and back window was busted out, they stole 3 computers, 9mm pistol, all clothes, prescriptions,GoPro, everything. The cops that showed up were probably part of the ring, total joke.

I was staging for a hurricane (insurance adjuster) is why I had all that in my truck.

Holeman and Finch Public House is fantastic.

Krog St Market is also awesome with tons of variety.

The frick is with you Louisiana people and leaving pistols in trucks

I mean, I get it if you're from some community where you've never had to lock your doors, but I'm going to guess for most of our LA people hoodrat crime isn't exactly a rarity so a shittier part of Atlanta shouldn't be too different.

The cops were probably mad you put another gun on the street for them to deal with.

Any suggestions on a good steakhouse

Top 10 steakhouses in Atlanta

Pretty solid list here except for The Palm(way overrated)...the author has a local food show and went to school at Tulane.

I worked at 3 of these places including Hal's...great guy and he's from N.O. and has Creole flair to their menu... located in N Buckhead BTW.

Make reservations ASAP.This is his busiest time of the year.

Bones is one of the top steakhouses in the country try. Excellent service as well.

Canoe on the Chattahoochie is solid as well. I got engaged here. Beautiful atmosphere

Canoe is the best setting in Atlanta IMO. I am actually headed to brunch there on Sunday.

I can walk there (to Canoe) from my house. We hit Wednesday bluegrass and have drinks on the river bi-monthly.

Canoe in the fall and spring. Outside on the river. Usually just a local crowd and couple of guys/gals picking.
