or, maybe report it to the police with the cameras that the restaurant is sure to have, and the police actually do something about it. There are little to no consequences for too many crimes in this country.
Police: "Oh he only stole $100 from you, not a big deal and not worth our time to look into it"
Person who was robbed: "ok, then i'll handle it myself next time, and don't bother to look into how i handled it"
