Will be coming home from the track and need a good place to eat for 15. Nothing too fancy as everyone will be feeling good and probably a little rowdy. Only request from them is "good food"

Are you going to the Bayou Classic? It's a great cultural experience.

I recently did a group of 12 in the side room at Vincent's on St Charles and was pleasantly surprised by the experience. Staff handled a group very well.

Not too far. They said they just don't want to go to Kenner.
Someone suggested Deanies last year. Not sure if they ended up going there or not.

Depending on what time, u may get into Luizza's. Its small tho... but loud. Havin drinks w dinner n there is no sweat.
Katies is a good suggestion, too.
Ralph's on the Park, Port o Call, Toups Meatery, Dookie Chase, Willie Mae's Scotch House.... none of those should be hard to get to....not sure if Lola's or Cafe Degas has a room or not?

Anything closed due to the bayou classic?

If you're avoiding the Bayou Classic crowd, don't go to Deanie's.
